Jag vill passa på att tacka för allt arbete som görs och det engagemang ni visar. Trots att jag befinner mig vid distriktets norra gräns så är utsikterna för en vit jul obefintliga. Som tröst har vi i skrivande stund just passerat midvintersolståndet och går äntligen mot ljusare tider igen.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the work you do and the commitment you show. Despite being at the northern edge of our district, the chances of a white Christmas are non-existent. As a consolation, we have just passed the winter solstice and are finally heading towards brighter days again.
Year-End and the Rotary International Invoice
The turn of the year is just around the corner. In January, the membership fee invoice from RI will be issued. It is based on the number of members registered in My Rotary at the turn of the year. Therefore, please ensure in advance that ClubRunner (or Polaris) and My Rotary are synchronized. If resigned members remain listed as active in My Rotary, unfortunately, you will have to pay the RI fee for them as well.
RYLA 2025
It is exciting that this spring a RYLA – Rotary Youth Leadership Award – will be held for young adults aged 20–30 years, nominated by clubs in our district. Please start looking for a suitable candidate that your club can nominate/sponsor – the application deadline is March 1, 2025. If you want to learn more about RYLA, you are welcome to attend a digital information meeting on January 8, 2025, at 19:00 (the meeting link is available on the district's website). In connection with RYLA, we will also initiate a mentoring program – if you are interested in getting involved, please contact Yael Tågerud (yael.tagerud.rotary@gmail.com).
Membership Statistics
This fall, the district has, very encouragingly, shown positive figures in the membership statistics reported by RI. For a long time, this has unfortunately been in the red. As of November 30, the district has increased by 10 members compared to July 1. Now we keep our fingers crossed for December 31.

Gada beigas un Rotary International rēķins
Gada maiņa ir tepat aiz stūra. Janvārī tiks izsūtīts RI biedru maksas rēķins. Tas balstās uz biedru skaitu, kas reģistrēts My Rotary gada beigās. Tāpēc, lūdzu, iepriekš pārliecinieties, ka ClubRunner (vai Polaris) un My Rotary dati sakrīt. Ja My Rotary aktīvo biedru sarakstā paliek bijušie biedri, diemžēl jums būs jāmaksā RI nodeva arī par viņiem.

Biedru statistika
Rudenī mūsu apgabals, ļoti iepriecinoši, uzrādīja pozitīvu statistiku biedru skaitā, kā ziņo RI. Ilgu laiku šie rādītāji diemžēl bija negatīvi. Līdz 30. novembrim apgabala biedru skaits ir pieaudzis par 10 salīdzinājumā ar 1. jūliju. Tagad mēs turam īkšķus par 31. decembri.
